Minor Aliments 

NHS Scotland now provides a Minor Ailment Service which is available at every communitry pharmacy.  It is available to anyone who receives free prescriptions.  It allows people to get treatment and advice on minor ailments without the need for a prescription or a visit to the doctor.

The service provides advice and treatment for

Cold Sores 

Constipation 

Cough 

Diarrhoea 

Earache 

Eczema and Allergies 

Haemorrhoids 

Hayfever 

Headache 

Head Lice 

Indigestion 

Mouth Ulcers 

Nasal Congestion 

Pain 

Period Pains 

Thrush 

Sore Throat 

Threadworms 

Warts and Verrucae
